Growing up New York and throughout my undergraduate years, dance was my outlet.  I tried yoga in my thirties in Central Massachusetts where I started a family with my amazing husband.  Unfortunately, that first class left me confused and feeling out of place. Instead of returning, I focused on ways to move--I ran, cycled, and swam. For many intense years, I co-owned and grew a global baby products company (Taggies, Inc.) during which I turned to triathlons and road races for physical outlets. Nine years ago, during a joyous stay on Cape Cod, the pull to yoga resurfaced and I began again. That day I fell in love as my mind, body, and heart returned to feelings of my younger, lighter self as a free and playful child, dancer, and individual. Casting off roles of daughter, wife, mother, and boss for an hour, I discovered incredible freedom and release of my mind, breath, and body, as if catapulted back in time. My appetite for yoga soared and after selling my business and moving to Mashpee, I enrolled in yoga retreats and workshops. A bit later, I graduated from The Golden Mind Project's Yoga  Teacher Training. Today, I am overjoyed to be studying to be a yoga therapist with Yoga on the VineAdditionally, I am certified in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra (both completed at Yoga on the Vine.)

Though years as a business entrepreneur were incredibly illuminating, mothering my three wondrous "chicks" has taught me more about life than any managerial or corporate role ever could.

My yoga teaching and student approach embody the truths that parenting revealed:

- you were born perfect, as you have remained

- thoughts are not facts

 - comparison is corrosive

- a life of joy is rooted in unconditional love, connection, and acceptance

- the path to happiness demands will, fortitude, and courage

- solutions stem from self-love, compassion, and gratitude
